 | Numerous years of experience and current research discoveries enable the Erich Pommer Institut to provide qualified consultation for companies in media industries, media policymakers, universities, associations, and other institutions. The institute participates in current political discussions regarding media-relevant questions, cultivates diverse contacts, and promotes constant exchange. Cooperating partners and a high-ranking board of advisors oversee and consult regarding all of the institute's activities. |

| Prof. Dr. Lothar Mikos is involved in program consulting and development for numerous television broadcasters. He is also active as an assessor for ARD, ZDF, ProSieben, RTL, and RTLII. He is also employed as an assessor concerning youth protection issues the television and gaming industries as well as for non-profit organisations. As the chairperson of the Television Studies Section of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA), he coordinates a Europe-wide network of television researchers and providers. He directs the program of studies for media sciences at Film and Television University 'Konrad Wolf' (HFF) and was instrumental there in the implementation of practical experience-oriented content such as program planning and format development for training courses. He has also advised universities in Great Britain, Sweden, and Spain with regard to the development of practical experience-oriented courses of study. He is a member of the Technical Committee for Media with the German Cultural Council. | |
