Practical focus
Cooperation-oriented |  | The Erich Pommer Institut functions as an independent, interdisciplinary, practical experience-based, cooperation-oriented research institute. The lively exchange between the sciences, economics, politics, and practical media generates relevant research topics. The results of our research also have a direct influence on the advanced training courses offered by the institute, and the knowledge that is gained is transferred to practical, political, and public sectors.

The results of our research are regularly published in publications and essays. The Erich Pommer Institut also produces reports and survey reports for companies, associations, and institutions.
The Erich Pommer Institut is a publisher of 'Schriftenreihe zu Medienwirtschaft und Medienrecht', which appears in Vistas Verlag, and it also organises the magazine series concerning media law, me-dia production, and media economy for Nomos Verlagsgesellschaft.
Managing director Lothar Mikos is co-publisher of the series 'Alltag, Medien und Kultur' from UVK Verlag and co-publisher of 'Film, Fernsehen, Medienkultur' from VS Verlag.
