Practical training of new talent
Our ambition is to encourage an interest in media law and media economics while handing on knowledge and skills to new talent in the media industry.
Prof. Dr Lothar Mikos is Professor of Television Studies at the Academy of Film & Television "Konrad Wolf". Prof. Klaus Keil teaches Interdisciplinary Film Economics at the Academy of Film & Television.
In cooperation with other national and international institutions we analyse specific problems while bringing together students from different fields of study. Furthermore, the directors of the Erich Pommer Institut welcome as Professors a large number of graduates and doctoral students from a range of fields.
In addition to organising courses, the Erich Pommer Institut offers a continuously expanding collection of specialist publications in our library.
„In a global information society knowledge is essential. For that reason, academic teachings have a high significance at the Erich Pommer Institut. The institute’s two professors and the research assistants impart their knowledge with passion and practice-related expertise to offer students knowledge and cognisance about media law and media economy.“

Prof. Dr Ronald Frohne, CEO, AGICOA Urheberrechtsschutz GmbH (founding shareholder)
